Screen is good, the rear camera takes some getting used to. I had to scroll it down so I could see closer to the rear of my vehicle.Note, I have a backup camera, so I’m not using that feature.Not their fault, but the hardwire kit was a P.I.A. for my vehicle, the fuse panel is in an extra hard location to reach. I gave up for now, but need to install it to free up my lighter outlet for other purposes. Therefore I’m also not using the 24 hour parking monitor yet. (Update) I paid my mechanic to do it, it took them awhile as well, to figure out which fuses to use and do to the hard to get to location on my vehicle. Also, my vehicle used a different physical size fuse that what came with the hardwire kit, so they had to cut the end off and find an adapter. Note, my mechanic liked it so much, he bought one. Also, my Brother Inlaw bought one after seeing mine and my wife wanted one for her vehicle. (But with the 3rd interior camera for watching what is going on in the back seat.)Overall I like it. I did suggest some improvements.My mirror factory mirror is really thick, it has the Compass reading on the mirror and has the auto day/night feature. This caused issues with mounting.1. The rubber straps should be replaced with velcro that tighten through a loop on the other side. This would allow for better fit on larger mirrors and also hold up better. I expect at some point the rubber ones will dry up and break.2. The camera will record a max of 3 minutes, no matter how big of a memory card you have. I would like to see a lot longer recording time if the user upgrades the card. Example someone break checking you multiple times, road rage where someone is chasing you for several miles, etc. (Update) I’ve found this isn’t a problem, it keeps a LOT of 3 minute videos, so you will still have the storage time and it will be incremented, instead of scrolling through 1 long video.I did notice I hit a pothole and I believe it Saved that as a crash event. I need to look at the card. Note, there is a sensitivity adjustment for how the impacts are recorded.Due to the updates, and figuring things out, I have changed this from 4 to 5 stars. [...]
