In addition, the monitoring system is equipped with a Modbus RTU interface that records sensor values from up to 50 sensors via the fieldbus. Via the connectors for current and voltage, you can evaluate sensors that are equipped with a 0-10V or 4-20mA interface.Digital I/OThe monitoring system 600 is equipped with 32 potential-free switching inputs to which you can connect detectors, e.g. for door contacts, smoke detectors and fault alarm contacts of air-conditioning systems. With the additionally available CAN extension unit, you can expand the system by another 64 inputs. For the control of actuators, 8 potential-free switching outputs are available. Furthermore, two relays are built in, via which you can switch load currents of 240VAC/10A. Alarm transmitters are supplied via two voltage outputs with 12 VDC/0.25A.Alarm notificationsThe Didactum monitoring system reports critical environmental conditions via e-mail, SNMP trap and, when using a 5G LTE modem, also via SMS. You can also use the modem as an SMS gateway to enable other Didactum monitoring systems in the environment to send SMS. Alarms are still provided via Syslog. In addition, we offer various actuators that issue alarms visually and acoustically.Access controlThe monitoring system has a port for RFID card readers to which you can connect up to two readers and assign access authorisations for them. Please note that the authorisations are not configured per reader at system level.Video surveillanceThe Monitoring System 600 II supports the connection of one AV camera, two USB cameras and two integrations of up to four IP cameras. You can record the images, but note that due to the event model, the video recording does not trigger directly, but the recording starts delayed by a few seconds. This also allows write access to the monitoring system. For example, you can send script-controlled SMS, switch outputs and even adjust the configuration.SetupThe system can be set up conveniently via the web interface. Furthermore, you can manage the monitoring system script-controlled via the REST API. The Monitoring System 600 II also supports the administration of further monitoring systems via the software extension “Didactum Manager”. Various licences are available for this.Memory extensionFor recording log files and video data, you can expand the system with various permanent memories. We recommend that you install an SSD. However, you can also use slots for SD cards (SDXC up to128GB, SDHC up to 32GB) or USB memory.
